New Albany Housing Authority’s Family Self Sufficiency Office hosts free informational sessions on expungement in partnership with Indiana Legal Services. For those that qualify the process involves meeting with case manager, Yolanda Coleman, to complete and submit intake paperwork which is then sent out to Indiana Legal Services. After this, you will be personally contacted by an Indiana Legal Services representative who directly handles the case from this point forward. The time to process expungements varies on a case-by-case basis.

The program has had 3 successful expungements in 2025.
