There is no set timeframe for completion, it will depend on you. As of 2025, classes will be held every other week and appointments with the housing counselor will be once a month. Program completion will be once you receive pre-approval from the bank of your choice. 

One to one appointments with your housing counselor will be scheduled once a month.

All Clark and Floyd residents are eligible to enroll in the housing counseling program. 

Down payment assistance is available as long as you meet the eligibility requirements.

Yes, you can enroll if you have purchased a home before. But, unless it has been more than 3 years since you were released from that mortgage, you will not be eligible for any first-time homebuyers opportunities. As to foreclosure, the individual would have to wait 4 years from the date of the foreclosure before they could apply for a loan. Also, the foreclosed home will have to be deeded out of their name.
