What is Affordable Housing?
Privately-owned housing for low-income families and individuals in which government subsidies, often in the form of tax-credit or vouchers, are used to offset rental costs so that housing units can be offered below market-rate to those who are income qualified.

Whispering Creek (formerly known as Cross Creek) was acquired by New Albany Housing Authority in the last decade and hosts 51 affordable housing apartment style units open to NAHA families. Like many of NAHA's properties it is newly renovated with modern appliances and amenities.
