Golf for Blessings in a Backpack Scramble

Join the New Albany Housing Authority for a day on the green to support local students! We are proud to host our upcoming Golf Scramble benefiting Blessings in a Backpack – Floyd County. Every drive, chip, and putt helps provide nutritional food on weekends for elementary school children in our community who face food insecurity.

Event Details

• Date: Monday, September 28, 2026

• Location: Valley View Golf Club, (3748 Lawrence Banet Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119)

• Registration & Lunch: 11:45 AM

• Shotgun Start: 1:30 PM

• Registration Fees: $150 per individual golfer | $600 per team (4-person team)

• Lunch Included: Kick off the afternoon with a delicious lunch before teeing off, generously provided by our official lunch sponsor, Bearno's.

• 18-Hole Golf Scramble: Gather your team or sign up as an individual for a fun, competitive round at Valley View Golf Club.

• Community Impact: 100% of proceeds go directly toward funding weekend meal programs for local Floyd County students through Blessings in a Backpack.

Blessings in a Backpack (Floyd County, Indiana) mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children who might otherwise go hungry. All donations and sponsorship proceeds are tax-deductible.
